Set up your Zoom integration for interview recording with booking links

Connect your Zoom account to Hireguide to record your interviews


As a Zoom administrator, you may authorize a Hireguide workspace to be integrated with your Zoom account. After this integration is created, the Zoom users within your account who are registered in Hireguide will be able to make use of Hireguide’s interview recording without any further setup required.


Your Zoom integration is managed in your Workspace Settings page in Hireguide. To allow Hireguide to record your Zoom meetings:


  1. Click Settings at the bottom of the navigation panel on the left side of your screen
  2. Click Workspace Settings 
  3. Click Zoom Integration
  4. Click Zoom Integration
  5. Click Connect Zoom Account, then follow the prompts



After integrating Zoom with a Hireguide workspace as the Zoom administrator, your organization’s users with Zoom user accounts will be able to use Zoom as their video-conferencing solution instead of the default provided by your calendar provider:


  1. Create a new position, or navigate to an existing one
  2. Click Configure Booking Link
  3. Under Interviewers & Availability → Interviewer(s) to Receive Calendar Invites, select a Hireguide user who is also a Zoom user
  4. Under Event Details → Organizer’s Calendar, select a calendar in the drop-down menu
  5. Under Event Details → Video Conferencing Link Type, select Zoom
  6. Click Save, then Close

Disconnecting your Zoom account from Hireguide


By removing the integration, Hireguide won’t be able to record your Zoom meetings. Existing recordings will be kept based on your data-retention policy.


Remove through Zoom

  1. Log in to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace
  2. Click Manage
  3. Click Added Apps
  4. Click the Hireguide for Zoom - Admin Setup app
  5. Click Remove

  1. Click Settings at the bottom of the navigation panel on the left side of your screen
  2. Click Workspace Settings
  3. Click Zoom Integration
  4. Click Zoom Integration
  5. Click Uninstall
